Feeling inspired? I hope so!
I have one more video to share. This one incorporates my clarinet! I had to dust it off and brush up on my skills a bit because it’s been quite a while since I played in the orchestra and wind ensemble!
People always ask how I incorporate my clarinet into my sessions.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this series and that it’s inspired you to add even more movement to your sessions with kids. I think you’ll see some amazing results, and hey, you don’t have to feel so bad about skipping the gym once in a while!
Such a great idea, Amy! It’s been quite a while since I brushed off my clarinet too. Now I can’t wait to figure out more ways to use it in a session. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
You’re most welcome!!
Hello Amy,
I’m Caty. My primary instrument is the clarinet. (I named mine Clara.) I started in 4th grade & now I’m a junior in high school! I’ve been playing for 8 years. How do I become a music therapist with my clarinet? What do I have to go through? It’s environmental enrichment for me, how do I do it for others? When I’m at my summer job, (Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary) I sometimes play my clarinet there on Fridays. The campers & counselors love it! Thanks!
Your Clarinetist,
Caty
