Elevate is an email idea subscription designed to help you infuse creativity and FUN into your music therapy sessions with school-age & teen clients with autism & related disabilities.

It’s pre-approved by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) for 10 continuing education credits per package (for music therapists) and 10 professional development credits (for educators). With five packages available, you can earn a total of 50 continuing ed credits.

Here’s how it works –

There are three parts to Elevate: monthly Musical Experience Ideas sent straight to your inbox, Creativity Worksheets, and instructor support.

Musical Experience Ideas: You’ll receive one package of session ideas straight to your inbox at the beginning of each month, for a total of 6 months. You can choose from the Teen Package, the Attention & Perception Package, the Holidays & Themes Package, or the Combo Pack.

The ideas will be in PDF format and include step-by-step instructions, as well as all the information you’ll need to prepare and facilitate the musical experiences. This includes lyrics, MP3s, visuals, musical game templates, or listening guides.

Each month will target a different skill or goal area, and you’ll receive brand new ideas to spark your creativity.

Creativity Worksheets: With each month’s idea, you’ll also receive a Creativity Worksheet that prompts you to plan out goals, objectives, and musical experiences to work on the skill or goal area with your own unique clients. This will double or triple the number of ideas you walk away with!

Instructor Support: In addition, you’ll have email access to ask me questions and get support, as needed. I’m trained in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) and have 20 years of experience working with children and teens with autism and related disabilities. I teach music therapy courses virtually for University of Miami and have research published in the Journal of Music Therapy.

Support questions can be about any topics related to (but not limited to):

Creating goals, objectives, & musical experiences
Implementing & adapting techniques for your unique clients
Building rapport
Group management
Determining musical preferences & learning repertoire
How to navigate challenging situations

You’ll earn the continuing education credits when you complete and return all the Creativity Worksheets. Simple as that!
