Are you struggling to come up with new ideas for your sessions each week?
Is your time super limited for creating materials?
Or, do you just need a creative boost as we roll into the new school year?
If the answer to any of these questions is YES, then I have a resource that will be right up your alley.
It’s called Elevate, pre-approved by CBMT for 7 CMTE credits. Elevate is a monthly email subscription designed for music professionals who work with school-age and teen clients with autism and related disabilities.
Here’s how it works –
There are three parts to Elevate: monthly musical experience ideas sent straight to your inbox, Creativity Worksheets, and instructor support.
Musical Experience Ideas: You’ll receive one package of session ideas that target attention & perception skills straight to your inbox at the beginning of each month, for a total of 6 months. The ideas will be in PDF format and include step-by-step instructions, as well as all the information you’ll need to prepare and facilitate the musical experiences. This includes lyrics, MP3s, visuals, musical game templates, or listening guides.
Each month will target a different attention or perception skill, and you’ll receive brand new ideas to spark your creativity, such as:
- Pop Star Rhythmic Combos
- Make a Band Musical Experience
- Listening Guides & Listening Games
- Pop Song Rhythm Games
- Themed Rhythmic Combos
- Musical Obstacle Course
Creativity Worksheets: With each month’s idea, you’ll also receive a Creativity Worksheet that prompts you to plan out goals, objectives, and musical experiences to work on the skill or goal area with your own unique clients. This will double or triple the number of ideas you walk away with!
Instructor Support: In addition, you’ll have email access to ask me questions and get support, as needed. I’m trained in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) and have 16 years of experience working with children and teens with autism and related disabilities. I teach music therapy courses virtually for University of Miami and have research published in the Journal of Music Therapy.
Support questions can be about any topics related to (but not limited to):
- Creating goals, objectives, & musical experiences
- Implementing & adapting techniques
- Building rapport
- Group management
- Determining musical preferences & learning repertoire
- How to navigate challenging situations
- Using pop music in a therapeutic manner (one of my favorite topics!)
You’ll earn 7 CMTEs (pre-approved by CBMT) when you complete and return the six Creativity Worksheets. Simple as that!
Here’s how to sign up –
Elevate is $125 for a subscription. That’s $125 for the six months of email ideas, Creativity Worksheets, instructor support, and 7 pre-approved CMTE credits.
You might be feeling like you need a little kick start to your creativity. Or, like you need some fresh ideas for your middle and high school-aged clients. Whatever the need, I would love to have you join Elevate!Add to cart
The Elevate Subscription is the same as the Pro Email Idea portion of Tune In To Teens and Attention & Perception E-Courses, however you do not need to have taken those courses to join Elevate.
Here’s what others are saying about Elevate and the creative resources offered by Wholesome Harmonies –
Bri Walstra, MT-BC had this to say about Elevate:
“I thought the email portion was helpful! I actually really like the creativity worksheets because it forces me to sit down and think about the six ways to adapt one intervention. I think as music therapists we often get so busy and we read about intervention ideas but never figure out how we can implement them best.”
Ashley Lewis, MT-BC shared this with me:
“I, of course love your resources and I think you are brilliant. Your work needs to be celebrated and I’ve told my friends about your website and how awesome your resources are.
The support I get from your resources makes my planning so much easier and less stressful. I am huge fan of yours and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next bc I will be buying it! I can’t wait for the next E-Book, keep crushing it over there!!”
And, Michelle Nettle, MT-BC had this to say:
“I hope you keep creating more E-Books and CMTE online courses. I love all the ones you currently have available. You are great and your ideas and presentation are so creative and also easy to implement, as you do a great job of “breaking” all the interventions down. Thank you and please keep creating!”Add to cart
