Board-Certified Music Therapist & Music Teacher
I’m Kayla Duncan, a board-certified music therapist. I earned my music therapy degree from Florida State University. I have experience working with a variety of populations: children with special needs, adults in a correctional setting with cognitive impairments, older adults, and inpatient civil and forensic mental health.
I completed my clinical internship at Florida State Psychiatric Hospital in Chattahoochee, FL. Outside of music therapy, I enjoy sailing, SCUBA diving, hiking, and playing with my cat, Turtle.
I’m currently pursuing an Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University.
