Board-Certified Music Therapist

I’m Clarice and I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Music Therapy and Psychology from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. There I completed practica in pediatric medical, behavioral medicine, and various school settings. I am originally from St. Petersburg, Florida and my primary instrument is classical piano.

I completed my clinical internship at United Community Options in downtown Miami, which houses different programs that serve individuals with special needs. I worked under Early Beginnings Academy which is a charter school with children birth to eight years with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other genetic disorders. In addition, I provided music therapy for the adult program working with adolescents with various developmental disorders.

I am currently the music therapist at the Miami Conservatory of Music in Coconut Grove where I provide music therapy sessions as well as adapted piano lessons. I have worked as a subcontractor for Wholesome Harmonies, LLC since 2019 providing home-based individual music therapy and adapted lessons.
