This is FANTASTIC – thank you so much for sharing! I love that you included visuals for the different genres, and that you expanded the range of genres. I’m looking forward to facilitating this game next week since St. Paddy’s day is right around the corner!

]]> By: Mary https://whmusictherapy.com/2015/03/session-ideas-for-st-pattys-day/#comment-14969 Wed, 02 Mar 2022 20:50:20 +0000 http://whmusictherapy.com/?p=10750#comment-14969 I like the Irish or not Irish game idea (I have one class in particular that loves games), and I adapted it to include pictures of the the different genres so that my non verbal clients could figure out what style it was if it wasn’t Irish (i.e. guitar and cowboy boots for country music, electric guitar for pop/rock, violins for classical, etc.), and I expanded the range of genres to include things like other nationalities of music (Hispanic, Native American, Asian) or other genres (kids, church, rap) so that everyone in a group could have a few different cards ( or I could stick with the original list for individual client sessions).
