Does working as a music therapist in South Florida sound like your dream job?

If so, you’re in luck because Wholesome Harmonies is ready to contract with two new music therapists!

We are a thriving practice that proudly serves clients in Miami, Florida and the surrounding areas. Our team of music therapists provides individual music therapy, group music therapy, adapted music lessons and developmental music programs. We specialize in working with children and teens with autism and special needs, but do also provide services to adults with neurologic conditions, such as Parkinson’s and stroke.

We are seeking highly motivated, reliable and creative individuals to work with us. The ideal candidate is someone who truly loves working with children and teens and is passionate about their work as a music therapist. The ideal candidate is also someone with a high level of creativity and strong musical skills.

Opportunities include:
– Providing in-home music therapy sessions and adapted lessons
– Providing group music therapy sessions at schools and facilities
– Providing developmental music programs for babies & toddlers at the library

There are two subcontracting positions available:
– Position 1: Providing services in the following areas: Kendall, South Miami, Pinecrest, and Coral Gables
– Position 2: Providing services in the following areas: Miami Beach, Doral, Aventura, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines and Fort Lauderdale

– Board certified music therapist
– Experience working with children and teens
– Reliable, creative and flexible
– Someone who is passionate about their work as a music therapist with individuals with special needs

Both positions offer significant flexibility in that the music therapist can choose the clients they would like to work with and they can create their own schedule.
