Today I want to share about an upcoming event here in Miami for children with autism and their families:
Beyond the Spectrum: Autism Family Day at the University of Miami Lowe Art Museum.
The event will be taking place this Sunday, March 1 from 12 – 3pm and children with autism and their families are welcome to join!
Children will rotate through various creative arts activities, including an art project, a tour of the museum and a group music session facilitated by Wholesome Harmonies.
Allison (who just joined our team last month!) and I will be facilitating the group music sessions, which will include singing, playing instruments, and movement to music to target developmental goals in a fun and engaging way.
We are so excited about this event!
