Happy Happy Holidays!

I hope you had a beautiful holiday, wherever you are in the world, and whatever you celebrate!

As another year draws to a close, I cannot help but look back with gratitude and look forward with hope and excitement.

Here’s why…

In 2014, I brought on two new music therapists to take on the increased number of requests we were receiving as I was serving as Interim Professor of Music Therapy at UM.

We more than doubled our client caseload, which means we have been able to serve more children and teens with special needs here in Miami.

We also expanded our Rockin’ & Readin’ at the Library Program, as well as our Baby Rock & Toddler Rock at the Library programs which are now taking place monthly!

I cannot wait to see what 2015 brings!

With that being said, there are two new exciting things that are upcoming in the new year that I want to tell you about…

1 ~ The Wholesome Harmonies website is undergoing a total and complete redesign!! I am SO excited for the new site to be launched that I can hardly contain myself! The site is more vibrant and easy to navigate…and it has a whole new look.

2 ~ I’ve been working on a brand new video series called “Session Faves.” As you might guess from the title, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite things to use in my sessions to make things run more smoothly, to make things more clear for my clients, and to make my sessions more interesting musically (I know you want to find out what that is!)

For now, I’ll leave you with a few of my favorite blog posts from 2014.

Music + Math in Therapy

Rapping About Friendship {cool session idea for teens!}

Movin’ & Groovin’ in Music Therapy ~ Part 4 {video series!}

Wishing you all the best as this year draws to a close and the new year begins!
